I recently had to sell my mother's home after her spouse passed unexpectedly. I lived about 18 hours from her home and was struggling to find a realtor that would take on the home and the unique trust situation involved in selling it before it sat vacant too long. Steven Johnson was highly recommended by one of my close friends and I happen to know the owner of the firm from years back. After our initial phone conversation and his viewing of the home I happily let Steve list the property. There were multiple challenges along the way with the home being in a trust and how everything had to be handled properly from the sale of the home to locating a bank that could take the trust funds to locating a CPA to tackle taxes at the end of the year. Steve never missed a beat and steered me in the right direction with everything. Being so far away, working and worrying about the next steps did not matter Steve took care of everything. He kept me fully informed of the progress and once the offer was accepted, he continued to update me on the process of a house heading to closing. Steve made sure I received the documents needed, in a timely manner, and did not stop working with me until well after the closing was finalized. I can say, without any doubt, that I could not have managed everything involved with selling this property without Steve. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a Realtor to work tirelessly to get the job done. Thank you Steve for everything.
